6. On the Server Information screen select POP as your type of incoming server. Then set your Incoming Server to pop3.yourdomain.com, and either set Outgoing Server to your ISP's outgoing mail server or to smtp.yourdomain.com. Once finished, click Next. **NOTE: if you do not know your ISP's outgoing mail server, click here to find it.

7. On the User Name screen, enter your User Name (for example: username@yourdomain.com). Once entered, click Next.

8. Congratulations! You have now set up your email account in Netscape Mail. You still have to configure it (directions below) in order to be able to send and receive email. Check over the information on the screen to see if it is correct. If it is click Finish to save your account. If not, click Back and fix any errors.

9. From the Menu, click on Edit and then select Mail & Newsgoups Account Settings from the Drop-down List. To set the new account as the default email account, make sure the account name is highlighted in the lefthand column. Then press the Set as Default button in the lower lefthand corner.

10. Next, select Server Settings under your account name in the lefthand column. Then make sure that Check for new messages every is set to 30 minutes.

11. Finally, select Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the lefthand column. Then make sure that the User name and password is checked and that your User Name is entered. If you do not do this step, you will be able to recieve email, but you won't be able to send any. Once it is set up correctly, click OK.

12. Congratulations! You have now set up your email account in Netscape!
